Die Goldhaar-Rindeneule (Acronicta auricoma) ist ein Schmetterling (Nachtfalter) aus der Familie der Eulenfalter (Noctuidae). Die Falter erreichen eine Flügelspannweite von 36 bis 42 Millimetern. Sie haben dunkelgraue Vorderflügel auf denen ein dunkles und braunes Muster gezeichnet ist. Im hinteren Teil des Flügels verläuft eine gezackte oder gewellte hellgraue und schwarz gerandete Linie. Nahe dem Flügelvorderrand, etwa in der Mitte der Flügellänge haben sie je einen schwarzen oder braunen Ring, der in der Mitte einen gleichfarbigen Punkt hat. Etwa in der Mitte der Flügel ist bei manchen Tieren eine schwarze, etwas verlaufende Binde sichtbar.
